All The Way

All the Way

As a child working alongside her father’s knee, Brynn Palmer had dreams of overseeing her own construction site. Being a woman in a man’s world didn’t bother her. She had it covered and was making it work. Until she realized it really wasn’t working at all. Then one night all her dreams came crashing around her.

Alec Harper took one look at Brynn Palmer and knew she was the one for Harper Construction, and the one for him. For years he had watched all his siblings and friends tumble like dominoes into love. All the while he sat back waiting and wondering when his turn would come.

But now that he found her, could he convince her to roll the dice and give him a chance?

Flying…

Flying…that is how I feel right now. I’m just flying through the All Series. It’s so much fun, the characters are a riot and engaging and I feel transported into their world. What could be better than that?

All Of Me is on Pre-order and scheduled to be published on September 15, 2015. All The Way is heading to the editor on October 1, 2015 for the first round of editing. My tentative publication date is mid December 2015.

I hope (am pretty positive) the rough draft of All I Want will be finished in less than two weeks! You will meet the hero of that story in All Of Me.

Next on the docket is All My Love and finally All About You. I’m still not ready to release who those characters are going to be, so stay tuned for hints!

As always, if you’d like to be considered as an ARC Reader, check out this post for the requirements.

Expanding the Series…

Just a quick little update to keep everyone informed.

All Of Me will be released soon!!! I just shipped it off to the proofreader this morning, and my goal is to have it published around the first of September. If you would like an ARC prior to the release in exchange for an honest review on Amazon, please contact me.

In the mean time, All The Way is set to go to the editor’s on October 1st for the first round of editing. My goal there is to have it released early to mid December. So stay tuned for more information on Alec’s story.

While all of that is going on, I’m about a quarter of the way through All I Want. This is the story of Sean Callahan and Carly Springfield. Sean is introduced in All Of Me. Carly will make her first appearance in All The Way.

The remaining characters for the final two books of the series will remain a secret for now. You’ll find out more about them in Alec’s story, All The Way, in December.  But guess what? I’ll tell you the titles just as a teaser. All My Love, and All About You.

Stay tuned!!

Moving Along

With summer comes new ideas and expansions.  By this, I mean my All Series.  You can read more about the All Series in this post.

I had originally figured this would be a 3 book series focusing on the Harper Brothers.  You’ll briefly meet Alec and Ben Harper in Road to Reality. Then in Road to Reason, you will learn more about Phil, as well as Alec and Ben when their sister Kaitlin falls in love with Ryan Mathews.  Like most older brothers, they are very protective of their baby sister!

As luck would have it, my mind started to wander while writing All Of Me and the next thing I knew I had a slew of new characters running through my brain!  Who are the other 3 hero/heroines, you ask? Well, for now I’m going to keep that a tiny little secret.  I will tell you one of the heroes is introduced in my second book of the All Series, All Of Me.

The remaining characters (or at least half of the hero/heroines in the future books) will be introduced in All the Way.  I just finished my rough draft of the manuscript for Alec’s story.  My goal is to have a release date sometime in December.  It’s set to go for the first round of editing in the beginning of October.

Stay tuned for more information!

More Music and My Books

This is a continuation from Music Helps. The next book in my All Series is All of Me.

As you might have guessed, the song All of Me played over and over while I was writing Phil and Sophia’s book.  It was just a coincidence that this song fueled me, being the same title as my book. I assure you, it’s the last song that has the same title that I listen to while writing this series.

Without further ado…here is the video and the song.

All Of Me

All of Me

Phil Harper has wasted five years of his life in a relationship that was going nowhere thanks to misplaced guilt, sympathy and pity. But the longer the failing relationship went on, the faster he saw his chances of being with the one he really wanted slipping away.

Sophia Mansfield has hidden her attraction to Phil Harper for five long years. After all, he’s her best friend’s brother—talk about awkward. Besides, she’s had to sit back and watch his relationship with another woman flourish while she turns away one man after another because no one seems to measure up.

Then suddenly he’s single, and no one knows the reason why. Not that she cares, but now is her chance. She’s waited long enough, so she makes a plan, and it’s a good one. Accepting her long awaited partnership and moving closer to him was the perfect start. Only one night—and a few too many drinks—ruins her chance.

Can Sophia and Phil find their way around it all? Or will Phil’s previous disastrous relationship and insecurities threaten everything she has waited so long for?

Music Helps

Music has always been a huge part of my life.  For as long as I can remember I’ve listened to all sorts of music. My tastes have changed through the years from country, to pop to hard rock and the old classics.

Often times music is playing in my house.  My husband and I have been known to sit around talking with Pandora playing on the weekends.  It’s soothing, relaxing and inspiring at times.

I love hearing a song playing now that reminds me of my wedding.  Or my childhood.  Songs that make me stop what I’m doing in that moment and just listen and remember.

I used to hear the music and not the words.  Now I listen to the words more than anything.  And that turns into an inspiration for a book, or rather the characters, if not their story. I touched on music once before in another blog post Inspirations and My Dog.

With my new Series, All Series, I’ve found one song that I play over and over while writing each book.  It helps me lose myself in the story.

Coincidentally my first two books in this series have songs by the same title of my book.  It didn’t work out that way on purpose.

I had already decided that the books in this series would start with “All” for every title.  Surprisingly, a song I’ve loved for years ended up being perfect for Ben and Presley.  It’s called “All or Nothing” by Theory of a Deadman.

Though the video has nothing to do with the book at all, the words have meaning to their story.  Here it is, enjoy!

Next week, I’ll share the video for my second book in the series!

All or Nothing

All or Nothing_2

Leaving the Navy after the death of his best friend in the line of duty, ex-SEAL Ben Harper has returned home in search of some form of normalcy. He’s good at hiding his thoughts and feelings and is positive he has everyone around him fooled. After all, no one ever brings his service career up to him, and he likes it that way.

Presley James is drawn to the new Director of Security at the hospital where she works, just like every other nurse and employee in the building. Tall, dark, dangerous and sexy as hell. With a wicked grin and happy hello for everyone—he is a total contradiction. After spending most of her life caring for people, something about Ben is pulling at her. Something about his smile just doesn’t equal up to the rest of him. No matter how hard he tries, she isn’t fooled.

Will she be able to help him find his way when her own baggage is more than even she can handle?

What I’m Working On…

Just a quick update on what I’m working on.

The fourth book of the Road Series, Road to Reason, was released just this week.   But fear not, you haven’t seen the end of those characters!! Nope, because in Road to Reality, you were briefly introduced to the Harper Brothers.  And in Road to Reason, you will learn more about them, especially since their baby sister, Kaitlin, is the heroine of that story.  The Harpers and the Mathews have a childhood connection, so all those characters you loved in the Road Series make appearances in the All Series.

There are three Harper brothers.  Alec and Phil are twins, and then Ben.  Kaitlin is the baby of the group, and all three brothers are very protective of their sister.  Especially Ben, the closest to her in age.

With that being said, the first book of the next series is Ben’s story.  All or Nothing.  Ex Navy SEAL Ben Harper has returned home after the death of his best friend during a mission.  He thinks he has everyone fooled on the turmoil and demons inside of him.  Everyone but Presley James.

Presley James is a nurse in the Pediatric unit at Albany Medical Center, where Ben is now the Director of Security.  She sees right through his smiles and good nature.  Not to mention how hot he is—the testosterone just rolls off, along with his confident swagger. But as much as she’s falling for him and wants to help him, she isn’t willing to let the skeletons out of her own closet.

You will have to wait and see how the two of them manage their way through.

The next book in the Series is All of Me, Phil Harper’s story.  I just completed that draft two weeks ago, but I’ll save a glimpse into that story for another post.

Then comes Alec Harper. I will be starting his book very soon, All the Way.

Stay tuned for updates!
